We organise walks every week throughout the year. Our main walking days are Wednesdays, Thursday mornings and Sundays. We also organise Friday evening walks during the summer months and take part in Ramblers Winter Walks organising walks between Christmas and New Year.
Our next five walks are listed on the left. You can click on a walk to get further details about that walk. This will open a new window on the national Ramblers website showing a full description of the walk including map reference. All our walks are available via the National Ramblers Walks Manager and our website now displays our walks information directly from that.
We produce a new Walks Programme three times a year in October, February and June.
To help you find the walks you are interested in we have grouped them under:
Should you wish to join one of our walks, please arrive at the start point indicated 15 minutes before the start time to introduce yourself to the Walk Leader. In the event of severe weather, please contact the Walk Leader to confirm that the walk will go ahead.
Notes
On all-day walks there will be a stop for lunch. Sometimes this is near a pub or café. Those on the walk can either buy food and drink to eat on the premises or bring a picnic to eat elsewhere.
On all walks there is a short 10 to 15 minute break mid-morning. If you’d like a snack or drink during the break you need to bring something with you.
