Welcome to Godalming & Haslemere Ramblers Group
Come and join us on one of our walks in stunning local countryside.
We organise walks every week throughout the year, varying in length from 3 to 12 miles.
Our Walks Programme gives details of all our walks. These take place on Wednesdays, Thursday mornings, Friday evenings (during the summer months), Sundays and some Saturdays. On all-day walks we usually have a pub stop at lunchtime. Areas covered include Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire and London. For members we have a WhatsApp group for car-sharing.
The Group also arranges a wide variety of social events for our members including UK and European holidays.
Another aspect of the Group's activities is the maintenance of the footpath network in the area of Surrey surrounding the towns of Godalming, Haslemere and Cranleigh. A Footpath Working Party is run on the first Tuesday of the month in conjunction with Surrey County Council.
Give us a try. You're welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if Ramblers is for you. Just turn up 15 minutes before the advertised start time of the walk and introduce yourself to the Walk Leader. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
